Meet Oscar Lönnblom – one of EWES' star sales representatives

With a university degree and a sharp technical mindset, Oscar is the person to talk to when you need someone with a deeper understanding of technology. But it’s not just springs and solutions that spark his interest – he’s also passionate about cooking and recipes.

Just like in the football world, Oscar Lönnblom was scouted and brought into the EWES team. Word on the street was that his talent wasn’t fully appreciated in his previous job – but now he’s here! We’ve strengthened the EWES team with a sales representative who combines technical expertise with a strong customer focus.

What is your role at EWES?
 work in "Sales & Engineering," which means I’m a sales representative with technical expertise.

Why did you apply for the position?
EWES’ marketing manager reached out to me. She knew I had an engineering degree in industrial economics (industrial engineering) and thought my profile would be a great fit for EWES.

What did you do before joining EWES?
I worked at a local company, also in Bredaryd. I was on the night shift, mainly working with castings by milling, threading, cutting, and assembling.

How have you been received?
Very well! All my colleagues have been incredibly welcoming and have helped me with any questions I’ve had.

How old are you, and where do you live?
I am 25 years old (in 2025) and live in Bredaryd.

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?
I love cooking and spending time with friends and family.

What is something you find hard to resist?
I find it hard to go without snus – a workday without it just isn’t the same! 🫣

If you didn’t have to work for money, what would you do?
Oh, I’d probably cook even more and experiment with new dishes. Maybe put a twist on my signature dish: pork schnitzel with potatoes and spiced butter.

When was the last time you laughed out loud?
That would be when I watched Triangle of Sadness, a satirical comedy by Ruben Östlund.
